TOP 100 CHAMPION PINOT
The results of the National Wine Challenge (NWC), better known as TOP 100, were released last week.
Happy to report that Jacques and his winemaking team were awarded Grand Cru National Champion and Best in Class for our Oak Valley Groenlandberg
Pinot Noir 2023!
The highest scoring single wine in each category is awarded Grand Cru status.
In Jacque’s words, “Receiving this award is an amazing honour and to get it for our Pinot Noir is extra special. These shale rich mountain vineyards are producing consistent quality as we gain confidence in the winery, the results are starting to show.”
For the Pinotphiles out there, only 800 cases left to secure your stash for those frosty winter nights by the fire.
It’s also well documented that Pinot works in tandem with cupids’ arrow to dial up the romance. We will not be held liable for any grievances in 9 months’ time!
