Platters Awards – Shooting for the Stars
Last week we received our Platters 2023 results and we’re happy to report an exceptional performance. Winemaker Jacques and his team continue to focus on producing outstanding Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in a style that reflects our cool climate terroir.
With over 8,000 wines tasted by the Platters panel, only 196 were awarded the coveted 5-star status and 3 came from Oak Valley.
This is the fifth consecutive year that the Oak Valley Groenlandberg Chardonnay has received 5-stars, a remarkable achievement which speaks to consistency in quality despite climatic and viticultural challenges in some years.
